How much is Headspace?
Headspace's own subscriptions page doesn't show a dollar price. Its US App Store listing shows ten in-app purchases from $12.99 to $94.99, as of October 2026. They cover several plans, so they are a range, not one monthly or yearly price.

What is Ebb, Headspace's AI?
Ebb is the AI chat inside the Headspace app. You can speak to it out loud or text it. Headspace's Ebb page describes it as an empathetic conversational AI chatbot that helps members reflect on their thoughts and suggests Headspace activities, and says it remembers what members have talked about before, so they can pick up where they left off.
Headspace's Ebb page says Ebb is for paid members aged 18 and up in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, in English only, and that members who reach Headspace through an employer or health plan may not have it yet.

Is Headspace worth it?
It depends on what you want. Headspace's US App Store listing describes an expert-led guide to mental health, mindfulness and meditation, and says members also have access to Ebb, its AI companion, and to licensed therapists and mental health coaches. It fits if you want that guide with an AI chat inside it. If what you want is a conversation as the whole product, that is Stella.
The key difference
Ebb is one part of the Headspace app. For Stella, the conversation is the whole product.
With Stella, you tell her what happened, or what you keep putting off. She keeps what you've told her in mind, tells you straight but kindly, and helps you find the words or choose a small step when you're ready. She has no meditation library or sleep audio.
Tell Stella what happened. Even the part you're still figuring out.
